Been watching Band of Brothers all week long in commemoration. Screw the networks... I have mega shows and movies on DvD and mp4 hard drive that honor the brave soldiers of D-Day and other important memorials. Mostly, I remember my dad, my father-in-law, and my too-many-to-name uncles that fought bravely during WWII. I did watch WWII in HD on the History Channel. Amazing color footage.

Same here: dad was in 8thAF; Father in Law TBF pilot; uncle flew PBYs and PBMs in Pacific; another uncle received silver star at The Bulge; another was a “frogman”; another in Army Air Corps...on and on...no slackers they. I bet they are all rolling over in their graves with this POS as CiC. My uncle was the last to go a year ago and left explicit instructions there was to be no mention of His Minimumess at his funeral. In fact, sounds like something I should do too just in case.
