The last few weeks have been among the worst of Barack Obamas time in office, recalling earlier periods of turmoil for the president in 2010 and 2011, when his ratings also plummeted. In 2013, the situation is significantly worse for the White House, with the Obama administration engulfed in a series of major scandals (IRS persecution of conservative groups, the Benghazi debacle, and the Justice Department seizure of journalists phone records) that are not only eroding trust in government but also in the office of the president itself. This is undoubtedly a period of steep decline for the Obama presidency, whose imperial-style big government approach is being increasingly questioned not only by American voters, but also by formerly subservient sections of the liberal-dominated mainstream media. In contrast to his first term, Barack Obama is finding himself less and less shielded by the press, and far more vulnerable to public criticism.

Like Israel (the northern kingdom just before they went into captivity) they are busy listening to the false prophets who are telling them everything will be ok God is on our side . To many believe this can be solved politically.
The root of our problem is not political (that is just a symptom) We have a spiritual problem . God looks for a man to stand in the gap and make intercession for the people . We don't have many doing that and many of our men lack the courage to stand . You know things are in real bad shape when God has to use women to start standing up (think of Deborah and Barak )
The nation is being sifted .
Believers need to fall on the faces and beg for mercy on the country and another outpouring .
It’s much too soon to conclude that he’s in trouble.
If he were a normal (within-the-system) President, he would be in trouble, but he isn’t, and we do not know how far he and his creators are willing to go.
My personal impression is that they can taste victory, they feel that it’s almost within their grasp, and that they are willing to do things no normal President would even consider to maintain their grasp on state power.
He’s nowhere near done.
Word.
Precisely! Just this week alone, Obama thumbed his nose at the opposition by appointing Susan Rice for NSA and Eric Holder said he has no intention of stepping down any time soon and will stay as long as Obama wants him to.
You really meant to write buried topics?!
Bingo. Congressmen roar and rage and do absolutely — nothing.
They are only mad that he got caught and it will slow down their progress. Make no mistake they are not mad at what he has done.
BY 2016 Hillary will be looking older than Helen Thomas, in the tv age ugly people do not get elected.
There’s another article about this on FR today, too - I think from the Guardian, or it referenced the Guardian, an ultra leftist rag. I think the cracks in the MSM are starting and will increase. They made him and they can unmake if they want.

He also bashed the Obama administration for issuing threats.
The Obama administration has been very aggressive about bullying and threatening anybody who thinks about exposing it or writing it or even doing journalism about it, and its well past time that come to an end, he said.

You know what’s happening in the UK?
UKIP and Nigel Farage, that’s what’s happening. They’re waking up, and the UKIP made huge gains in the last election, and after the soldier getting butchered on the street, his party is gaining many new members.
There is fight left in the UK.
Whenever I read comments about how Hitlery is popular, will win, etc - I just laugh.
No freaking way. Not only hideous, but tainted, ancient beyond her years, and IMHO she won’t have the energy to even run. She’s a hasbeen who never was.
You are really a defeatist, aren’t you.
0bastard is not Superman.
I agree. Now is not the time for pre-emptive defeatism! THe exact opposite is needed - courage and a fighting spirit.

That was true in the past. But now I have absolutely no faith in the majority of the people who infest this land.
Discernment is dead to most people.
Congressmen roar and rage and do absolutely nothing.
I believe they and their families have been threatened. They can “roar and rage” but they don’t dare cross the line.
Thank you!! What an honor! :^) You made my day!
“Maybe Im not so hopeless after all.”
If you took note of our national suicide in November, 2008, you’re not the slghtest bit hopeless; on the contrary, you can count yourself among the small handful of our national geniuses.
I’m sure Hillary is confident of victory, but she may have trouble with AR.
