Like many kids who grew up chasing the DDT trucks and gasping for breath as we ran or raced our bikes to keep up with the "smoke truck", I have breathed a heck of a lot of DDT, my dad was stationed in the Pacific from 1939 until much later in the war, I imagine that he saw his share of DDT.

We hated mosquitoes and loved the trucks spraying our neighborhoods.

It's not just death. How do you even begin to calculate the pain and suffering caused by government? Rules, regulations, taxes, worry, intimidation, lawsuits - they may not overtly kill, but the effects on physical and mental health are incalculable. From the DMV, IRS, zoning regs, OSHA, EPA 'wetlands' violations, coming Obamacare and death panels. . . hundreds of examples. . About makes me sick just to think about it.
