Pelosi says the act puts people “in charge of how they receive coverage and health care.”

She said Republicans “will ask for repeal, repeal of all the things ... that help children, help young adults, help seniors, help men or women who may have prostate cancer, breast cancer, whatever it is, any precondition. And everybody will have lower rates, better quality care and better access.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Thursday that health insurance premiums will go up under Obamacare because people who did not buy insurance before, and thus had no premium at all, will now be forced to buy insurance.

So, as we Conservatives have been saying from day one, this was one big, complete, total, BS sandwich!

The Dems have been saying that premiums would go DOWN because we would have MORE people buying insurance (like supply and demand). The fact is just the opposite, because we will have more people demanding a service (healthcare) that will have LESS people doing the job (Doctors quitting or going to cash-only solutions)! Not to mention all the other requirements such as forced limited payments for services which cost more than most other services. My wife's office visits are more often, include more tests and last longer than my visits, but insurance says they are supposed to pay about the same for men and women.

This can NEVER be cost effective or "equal" and will cause businesses to FAIL! PERIOD!
