His refusal to answer might have been just another middle finger salute.
That's what I thought. Isn't one of Alinsky's rules that the threat is more terrifying than the thing itself? Why not instill doubt in the minds of the elite ruling class and make them anxious that their power has been diminished? That should help deflect attention away from IRS, Benghazi, Obamacare, and all the other stench this administration creates. Get congress focused on itself and away from the demands of the little people that something be done about all these scandals. That was my take but I didn't see the whole hearing.
