Today feels like 2012 all over again: Conservative leaders and critics are once again focusing their attention on U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice......

Stage 1: But Rice Lied About Benghazi! This stage is self-explanatory.....

Stage 2: But Rice is Incompetent! In other words, there's no scandal-scandal, but she's a bad choice based on her merits (more about that here).....

Stage 3: Obama Just Wants Revenge! Since Rice's new position doesn't require Senate confirmation, of course Obama chose Rice to get back at Republicans for attacking her last fall........

Stage 4: Resignation Well, they tried.........

Stage 5: Acceptance, or, Let's Change the Subject! It's really time to move on....

It sucks. But in reality, not much they can do about it.
With all that is going on I don’t think I’d pick this as the hill I’d choose to die on.

I heard Krauthammer say last night that the Benghazi lies weren’t Susan Rice’s fault, and that she was only being loyal to Obummer by saying what he told her to say.

So I guess it’s starting already.

Nothing they can do, doesn’t require a house or senate vote.

He can put anybody he wants in that office.

He can't force the Congress to believe a word she says.

Susan Rice in charge of the NSA? Are you kidding me? Does America understand the tools that that job will give this proven liar, and political sychophant access to? Eschelon, super computers that download 1.7 Billion bit’s of data each day, the Utah Digital Vault facility, every email, all our banking, our sexual lives, all our childrens info, what we eat, how we spend our time, what we watch on tv, our political belief’s, what church we go to, all this information to a political arm of Obama, to be used, to target opponents with government agencies. If people roll over and wimper about this, then welcome to fahrenheit 451, citizen, it is NOW 1984.

This could be a “teaching moment” if the Republican Party would publicize her role in getting Clinton to reject the offer from the government of the Sudan to hand over Osama bin Laden. 99% of the public is completely unaware that Clinton turned down the offer (they aren’t even aware that the offer has been made) even though Clinton was caught on tape publicly admitting it. Bush with his usual mildness toward his opponents never exploited that after 9/11 even when the Democrats were trying to say that the attacks happened because of his negligence.

One good thing is that this gives PUBBIES and RINOS a chance to see what they are up against.
