I too would have liked to see this author use more social science research, especially --- as you mentioned --- Regnerus.

But it is revealing to see what criteria the feminists/queer theorists use to determine that a childraising outcome is "better."

I'm just rattling this off from the top of my head, but from the research I've read, the following descriptors counted in the "better" category for kids raised by homosexuals, followed by my translation:

You get the picture.

hen I come across a few of these articles, I'll post them with comments.

Pray for these kids, and for our disintegrating culture.

I’d noticed the same trends.

Tauted studies have also shown that for more reasonable definitions of “Better”, that children raised by rich, white, lesbians even with all of the benefits of money, status, and a supportive community, do no better than poor, single, heterosexual mothers and are still unlikely to fully develop mentally, socially, and much more likely to be incarcerated at some point in their life.
