Ah, but that article cites... The National Guardian, in the UK.

I guess I'm wondering about why we (U.S.) have to wait on Britain to do OUR reporting for US.

(Not that I'm not grateful to the Guardian for doing it).

Perhaps because Britain is several hours before the US and gets stories posted on-line before the US papers?
