Given your unique ability to predict the timing and availability of organ/donee pairing, maybe you should tell us who will be denied.

Would you prefer the required age be raised to 16? Hell, make it 80, so no “legal” patient goes without.

I understand it’s more about how an adult lung will survive in a child.....and how long....will she need another as this lung ages should she get one...and then there are further complications because it is an adult lung being used. Apparently the success rate isn’t near as favorable and likely why they set the age limit.
