We are now entering the brave new world where politicians and judges determine who will live and who will not. Obamacare, indeed. I'm happy for the little girl but this is nothing to celebrate.

Everyone thrilled with the decision has implicitly accepted the new order.

Was all this triggered by ObamaCare? I don’t think so. They have had these transplant rules in place for years. This would have come up without ObamaCare. It does indicate what we have to look forward and more and more life and death decisions are decided by the govt and judges.

There is a place for judges and rulings like this in our society. Seems to me this judge did exactly what he was supposed to do.

Yes, I am not comfortable at all with how this is moving...though I understand the girl was at the top of the pediatric list for a transplant at this hospital...where there are children just as sick as she is.

My understanding is this only allows the girl to get on the “Adult” waiting list....but would seem she would then go at the bottom of that list?

At any rate this isn’t something I’m celebrating either....will someone get “bumped” because of all the media attention and involvement of the government?

And this now will encourage other parents fighting for their children to seek media attention...so then does the media determine to run or not with their story?

Do you prefer that organ transplants be governed privately? Maybe an online ebay where transplants are decided by the highest bidder?

What’s your solution if you want the government out of the organ transplant game?

We are also entering a world where idiots (each of us) allows them to do just that.

What is the point being the most armed citizenry in the world if we act like we aren't?
