Right now no one is running against either Cornyn or George P. Bush for land commissioner — they get free rides. Perry could face Tom Pauken (never won statewide) and Greg Abbott. People in TX must think George P. is the “real deal” after all.
Same here in Tn. We could get rid of Lamar Alexander if a credible
candidate stepped up. So far, no one has.
Gregg Abbott would be awesome - at least from what I’ve heard about him the last several years. I wish he’d run against Cornyn.
