Khosla had the best returns of any VC for a while, but I don’t know if his green technology investments have paid off like his previous ones.
Don’t know either. Had a friend who was good friends with Khosla late 90’s early 2000’s.
He made me aware of Khosla’s move into green around that time.
I laughed about it but, later thought “What do I know? This guy has private jet money”
Never gave it another thought. I think the whole thing is a load of bunk and many of these deals are about structuring for the 1st guys in, so they get a return.
I don’t personally see how green makes any money off the actual tech, as there is marginally a spot for it in the marketplace.
