A report by Britain’s Department for Education and Skills notes that an increasing number of schools are dropping the teaching of the Holocaust from history lessons to avoid offending Muslim students. The report, titled Teaching Emotive and Controversial History, also observes that many teachers are reluctant to discuss the Crusades because the lessons frequently contradict what is taught in local mosques.
It gets worse. The website Family Security Matters (h/t Weasel Zippers) reports:
In an effort to counter ‘Islamophobia’ in British schools, teachers now are required to teach ‘key Muslim contributions such as Algebra and the number zero’ in math and science courses, even though the concept of zero originated in India.

Also, maybe England can learn a thing or two from Germany, where they have NEVER HESITATED to teach the evils of their Nazi past, and they were teaching it to the kids and grandkids of the people that were gassing the Jews. But they still did it, and did not give a crap if it offended anyone in the process.

What a load of crap. Muslims didn’t contribute jack to mathematics other than the translations into Arabic of the works salvaged from Alexandria. Algebra was used extensively in commerce prior to the birth of Christianity, and it was the Hindus that “discovered” zero.

Muslim NEVER contributed ANYTHING to the world, sometimes the cultured they concurred continued to thrive for awhile before they were destroyed by these backwards sociopaths, but eventually manage to destroy even the most advanced civilizations they assimilate.
The UK’s also advising children to give their lunch money to school bullies. Officials have assured kids it’s the right way to make bullies into nice people.
Moral of the story: politicians and administrators will cower to you if you riot, blow things up, and cut peoples heads off.
Credit should be given to the Arabs, however, for salvaging and publishing works that might have otherwise been lost. This effort was long underway prior to the insurrection of Islam. Unfortunately, the Arab cultural interest in the field of sciences did not survive the impact of Islam and the Crusades.

In the film "Stand And Deliver" (a truly outstanding film,IMO) the calculus teacher,Jaime Escalante,said at one point that it was the Mayans who originated "zero".Of course a Hollywood film...even one based on a true story...can't be considered authoritative.
The Holocaust is not the only event that must be dropped in obedience to Islam. No fact-founded history lesson is acceptable to Islam. The rest of history and chronology items must be dropped. If necessary, one by one.
