The little girl isn’t getting in line ahead of any adult. She has been on the list for a while but EVERY adult on that list is bumping her down to the bottom of the list. They will not give adult lungs to children under 12 until all the adults waiting have received lungs. Her parents are asking for her to get HER turn on the waiting list and nothing more. IOW, if I was to get on the donor list today, this little girl would be behind me in line. I agree that it is unfair and the rules should be changed.
