I am told that Glocks in their various incarnations are good ugly cheap guns.
If you get one stolen while travelling, you are out the gun, but no affection because you can easily get another just like it.
I particularly like the 10mm variant. One of the few semi auto handguns that you might like to take hunting.
My uncle had to shoot a robber that tried to enter his cab while sleeping in the sleeper at a truck stop! The assailant had a weapon also! My Uncle always said he hated having to shoot the guy but it was him or me at that point, and UNC took a round to the shoulder. One less bell to answer!
Yeah, Glocks make good depdendable truck guns, but they aren’t all that cheap. They run north of $500 dollars these days. For that price, you can buy 2 or 3 High-points and 250 rounds of ammo. If the first High-point jams, toss it and keep trying each until one works. LOL.
