New York has plenty of money. New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland are rolling in wealth, which is heavily taxed.

These rich people are the rulers, and if they would rather have organic argula than fracking, that’s the way it is. The people who live upstate are too poor and too few to have any influence.

I live in the outer burbs and like you say we do ok. I know the upstate counties. And these people need to split from NYC and form a new state. West NY or some such. The same crap is happening in Californication. The San fag crisco’s and hollyweird La La landers are lighting their organic flambeys with 100 dollar bills. And voting themselves HIGHER TAXES to boot. They deny the farmers in the Central Valley water so the working farmer has to leave.

We as a nation are ripe for a CW.

“The people who live upstate are too poor and too few to have any influence.”

Correct. Yet Freepers continue to spout off about how we deserve this crap.

I am getting very close to taking my sorry assed New York self (and my monthly donation) somewhere else.

I am getting sick of hearing it from the ignorant arseholes that have infested this place.
