I've heard from high ups that the army's mission isn't to fight wars its to fight sexual harassment and sexual assaults....i think its time to get out. I am pretty sure the SPartans sexual harassed and assaulted their enemies.

Over the last twelve years of war, our Army has demonstrated exceptional competence, courage, and resiliency in adapting to the demands of war and accomplishing the mission. Today, however, the Army is failing in its efforts to combat sexual assault and sexual harassment. It is time we take on the fight against sexual assault and sexual harassment as our primary mission.

RE: "[T]he army's mission isn't to fight wars its . . . ."

Charles J. Dunlap, Jr.

I just grabbed off one of the google search hits.. this is from wiki graffiti about an essay describing what is likely to happen as the military gets more and more civilian assignments and almost no military assignments.

"Dunlap wrote an essay in 1992 called The Origins of the American Military Coup of 2012 in which he asserts that the blurring of the military role of the armed forces into civilian missions might be dangerous to democracy and civilian government."

Note 1992. At the time that the Clintons and their ilk were coming on strong with their talk of a "peace dividend" and more.

I recall reading that this work was well received all the way up the chain of command.

Thursday I get to attend a mandatory harassment class. An hour of my life I will never get back.
