The EMR requirements are primarily, at least at this time for Medicare. I see a lot of providers dropping out of or refusing to take Medicare for this and other reasons. Primary care physicians are shifting to self pay and a lot of their patients are sticking with them. The patients like the personal service, improved access, and privacy.

This won't last long. If it's efficient, private and improved, 0 will find a way to destroy it. He'll manufacture another crisis so it will be *reformed.*
