When people accuse McDonalds of serving food that isnt nutritionally ideal, they can always point to their salad offerings. See, salads are healthy, and McDonalds serves salads: therefore, you can eat healthy at McDonalds, but if consumers choose to eat something else, thats cool, too. Only the company admitted to investors this weekend that they dont actually sell a lot of those salads: vegetable-based offerings account for maybe 2-3% of McDonalds sales in the United States.

“True. IIRC, sometime in the 1990’s they offered pizza which flopped.”
I ate quite a few of those little pizzas. They always seemed to have some sort of promo on them, so they were cheap, and actually not bad taste-wise. Now the McLean Deluxe (or whatever it was called) was horrendously bad.
This. I love them.
“That being said, when you go to the Golden Arches, its for French fries.”
I’ve been trying to find my inner six-pack. It’s visible now under certain bad lighting conditions and if I’m warned you’re going to look you can definitely see it. No fries. No sugar in the coffee. I try not to even breath the greasy air.

Michelle can have my McSalad, for free
Every time McDonald’s gave into the vocal demands of the few for HEALTHY food and wasted countless dollars on roll out, equipment and training people refused to by said healthy food! McDonald’s biggest failing was to fall into the trap of trying to be all things to all people, If they had stuck with the menu they had in the late 70’s and early eighties and continued to run the operation the way Ray did they would have been better off. That is why IN N OUT does so well, stick to the basics and excel.
Their new Egg White Delight is delicious!
The politically correct meal is just like the electric car.
And this is the new theory of relativity; if it was dreamed up by collectivists, it will fail.
OK. I am impressed. Is that what you were going for?

She likes lobster, dunked in butter.
People do not want salad, they want that MYSTERY MEAT.
The salads are a little rubbery. But it makes sense to buy on burger and a side salad from the dollar menu rather than two burgers, which can leave you a little too full and guilty.
They are over priced.
If they made em for 1.99 or 2.50 I’d buy em.
Omg! They are incredibly stingy with their sauces? I like bbq sauce w my fries and some locations try to charge me for a thing of sauce. Its ridiculous!
Michelle can have my McSalad, for free.... it will at least give her a somewhat reason for her hatred of America
Cannot beat a $1 coke, unless you get a 44 at sonic during happy hour.
Salad days for Mickey D’s!
