That, or they need to reverse course on that recent vote, then go find a big wealthy sponsor that doesn't mind the controversy. Like the NRA, for example. It's not like that organization could be any more reviled by the Progressives, right?

I'm not sure if that would work legally, given the non-profit particulars (though Komen/Planned Parenthood could serve as a template), but that partnership would sure make some leftists' heads explode.

Agreed. Accepting corporate funding left the BSA vulnerable to outside pressure.

That's the beauty of Free Republic - accepts no outside funding so it is impervious to external pressures.
