We also had an encounter with some counter protesters this weekend that I would like to share with you. We had some local kids that were being PAID to hold signs up and counter protest us on Saturday.
One of the young men engaged us in conversation and asked what this was all about. After we explained how far reaching and poorly written the laws are that Sen. Giron voted for, the young man SIGNED our petition!
His group did not show up again. He was upset that the out of state Giron backers had lied to him, even if it was easy work."
