AMEN! It is none of their damn business. A national sales tax is the solution. For one thing, people would see exactly how much they are paying to the government and would be more likely to demand value for the money.
Not only will "the poor" finally pay their "fair share" but also drug dealers, criminals and politicians.
I would also eliminate all federal taxes on everything inc. gasoline, liqueur and tobacco, etc and collect ONLY the sales tax on those items.
I’ve got more questions for the IRS like how do we know that the $1.6 billion they gave out in unearned income tax refunds didn’t go to political friends of Obama?
Just today the Werfel clown admitted that it was nearly impossible to document whether those receiving the refunds didn’t receive them fraudulently. I’m not concerned about the welfare moms, they’re a problem of their own. I want to know about those who got big money refunds. I want to know if the IRS has been funneling money back to the SEIU or other unions friends of Obama.
