Nah, not really, at least not in large enough numbers to affect the election.
The same thing was said after McCain’s loss-that it was conservatives who stayed home.. Once the post-election smoke cleared and information became more clear, it turned out that it wasn’t conservatives who stayed home, it was moderates.
