It’s like the third or forth time.

I suspect that the death was expected for a while. That is why Obama has been sucking up to Christie. Obama wants veto rights over anybody that Christie selects. I’m sure Christie is tripping over himself trying to find someone who he believes will support Obama.

Who’s the oldest member of the Senate now? Dianne Feinstein I assume? She turns 80 in a few weeks.

I never agreed with his politics and it is my hope that he repented his crimes against the Lord before his death. May our Good Lord rest his soul.

Here's his voting record, per ontheissues.org. From one end to the other, he was firewall liberal all the way.

Condolences to Lautenberg's family, but I sure as hell won't miss him.

Frankly I don’t give a crap about FL. I do care about which way Christie Cream goes in appointing a successor. Anybody seriously think he’ll appoint a conservative?

Well, looks like the rubber is finally going to meet the road for Christie now...will he appoint a Republican, or will he instead be “bi-partisan” and go with a Rat?

Since he has his own mausoleum - The Secaucus Train Station - maybe he can be interred there. At least it would be put it to SOME use.

The Democratic Party will nedbeatty Christie to a tree and get him to agree not to appoint a Republican seat filler before the regular election comes around and awards the seat to Newark mayor Corey Booker.

I cannot tell a lie, he was an awful senator and not well liked, mostly an unpleasant do nothing. A sad tribute to people in NJ rushing to vote for any liberal democrat.

And Christie will appoint someone to the left of the gang of 8 republicans.

Not to worry. The Dems will dig him up when they can’t find anybody else to put on the ballot.

To paraphrase Mark Twain regarding Lautenberg’s death: “I will not attend the funeral —but I will send a nice letter stating that I approve of it.”

Hey, a dead Democrat is a _______________ Democrat (you fill in the blank).

Let’s not sugar coat the Democrats. Look how many deaths they are directly responsible for by voting for abortion on demand. And why do we have to put these pukish politicians on a pedestal all the time? When a criminal dies, do we all rush out to issue our condolences?

The guy is dead and will meet his maker. God will take it from there.
