The chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee blasted White House press secretary Jay Carney on Sunday, calling him a “paid liar” who is not being truthful about the scandal at the Internal Revenue Service.
“Their paid liar, their spokesperson, the picture behind, he’s still making up things about what happened and calling this a local rogue,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), said on CNN’s “State of the Union,” gesturing to a graphic of Carney on the set.
Singling out one government employee for being a liar is kinda like - well - I cannot think what is is like cause there are not any that tell the truth in the first place.
Thank for finally using the “L” word. It’s about damned time. Call them what they are.
But he’s still there, Mr. Issa, lying all day, every day about every single thing.
Obama is in control and Satan controls him.
At least Jay is doing a bang-up four-star job as a liar. The IRS guys need someone like Jay....all of their bosses are mostly two-star liars. I admire Jay in some ways. He’s invented sixty different ways of lying through a story and looking pretty good. He never sweats, which would really ID him as a liar. And, he can pour one single fact into an entire lie....which makes you scratch your head because that fact was true, but the rest of the story is bogus. That takes creativity.

Well maybe three-star but I agree with your point. Carney is just doing his job. If he doesn’t like the continuous lying that the job requires then he is free to resign. But it doesn’t appear that he has any plans to do so.
OTOH, Issa and the GOP leaders need to ratchet up the dialogue one more step and start naming Carney’s boss at the real source of the lies.
What needs to happen is to force Obama to double down on the lies or start firing people or both.
Issa’s right. But Issa is pissed because he knows Lerner rolled him in the
hearings.

A WH press secretary who has completely lost credibility is worthless. Sorry, Jay, you are on borrowed time.
What does it say then?
Well he got his training as a MSM journalist. Since he was a MSM journalist his fellow propagandists oops I mean journalists believe every word he says. Shouldn’t MSM journalists wear an amband with the Obama logo on it? For more formal occasions perhaps a lapels pin.
