OTOH, many USA-type CFLers(particularly ex-CFLers) consider the Canadian game “a track-meet”. We’ve had some amazing QBs of all types, including my boyhood hero - Joe Kapp!
Granted, up here it’s more of a “run for your life” offence. ;^)
I was a Joe Capp fan myself, but I don’t think you can compare the quality of CFL player to the guys of his era. The modern CFL is crafted to be a big yardage game, and given the talent, both in terms of speed and QB skill set, that means throwing the ball. Leaves Tebow out of the equation - maybe he could play Arena...
