There was some jackass named Ryan Clayton blamed Wall Street for the collapse of the economy. He also said we are pushing the scandals and that the republicans dreamed them up. Just another turd in the punchbowl.

Ryan Clayton

Ryan is a Media Analyst at a Democratically-aligned media buying firm, where he focuses on analyzing the expenditures of Republican candidates and conservative issue advocacy groups. Through this research, he is often the first to know when independent groups are going up on the air, how much they are spending and what media markets they are targeting.

With previous experience working for progressive non-profit organizations, Democratic candidates, and elected officials, his background gives him a broad understanding of how campaigns, non-profits, and government institutions fit together to shape American public policy.

Currently, he is working on US Uncut, which connects corporate tax dodging to cuts in valuable public services. Operating through social media, mostly on Facebook & Twitter, US Uncut has developed self-organizing chapters in 50+ cities throughout the country and recently hosted 100+ actions across America for the weekend of Tax Day 2011. The message is simple: we pay our taxes, why don’t they?

His online presence, www.100ProofPolitics.com, is a political news aggregator that delivers the top breaking headlines from prominent sources on the web. This site is also home to his weblog where Ryan delivers his unique blend of political opinions, always “Served Straight Up, No Chaser.”

Previously featured on MSNBC, FOX News, CNN, BBC, & RT

How To Talk About Citizen’s United

In response to the recent one year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v. FEC, which overturned bans on corporate cash in elections, many friends on the progressive side of the aisle are drawing attention to this issue, talking about the impact in the 2010 elections, and discussing solutions to the problem.
