The media circus will see to it that this is the most important story for as long as they can, but you don't care, right?

Most of us here care about JUSTICE, Zimmerman acted in self defense doing a job most don't have the guts or who are willing to take the time to do to do....watching and protecting his neighborhood.

Of course, liberals can't see that, they think it's the Gubmints job.

You are correct that this is a media circus, and it will be so because the narrative is exactly what the media love - an accusation of unjust violence by a "white" man against a "black" man. This kind of story gives the media a hard-on. But when it is black-on-white violence, the media's attitude is ho-hum, nothing to see here, and if you dare make any generalizations about such crime, you will be shouted down and told to shut up, told that you are a racist, are unfair, blah blah blah. This story tells us more about the media than about anything else; the crime itself was an isolated, unusual incident, not at all of national import, and nothing from which we can draw any lessons that we didn't already know.

However, unlike you, I don't have any certainty about whether a crime was committed. I have heard all sorts of contradictory claims, and it is up to the jury - not me - to sort it all out.
