When I worked for a defense contractor we had to sign into any secure location we went. Sure, sometimes we would have our clearance information forwarded and then not show up if a meeting was canceled or if we didn't now who would attend so just sent all the potential visitors' info, but that never changed the need to actually sign on the visitors' log when we showed up.

I expect that the White House would be much, much more strict that the defense locations I went to, so I call BS on this whole thing. About the only possibility is people getting special access without signing in the log, but that means 157 would be the minimum number of times Shulman went to the White House.

I believe if Shulman was a personal guest of the kenyan that visit wouldn’t even be in the logs.

Even so, there'd be a PROX badge reader with some kind of a database that had electronic logs. Everyone entering and exiting would be badging in and out. Oh man, this excuse of theirs is so, so lame.
