No. It says wives are to submit to their husbands. When I was a teenager, I argued this point with my father, a Godly man, but not perfect. This is the way of the Muslims - wives obey. There is a difference. Nowhere in the Bible are wives to be 'punished' or 'disciplined' for 'disobeying' their husbands as with children or servants. God set it up this way on purpose. There is to be a healthy Godly hierarchy and a Godly woman follows this and a Godly man does not abuse this.
