Yes of course, a loving family and church are therapeutic — probably more than an “official” therapist. Let’s hope the boy is resilient, even so, he was forced to undergo terrifying, mortifying, embarrassing abuse. He’ll have to get beyond his own trauma and whatever the other kids in the school dish out...could be a very cruel environment for him. God help him.

cripple had a bad experience with psychologists who simply ended up unhelpfully toying around with his mind. So now he pans the whole field. I agree to skepticism about psychologists to a certain extent. Psychology does not normally reach to spirituality and spirits. And there are evil spirits at play here, it is virtually certain. But also even a church and a Christian family who are supposed to know such things, often don’t, and here’s where the Christian psychologist often shines — he’s been there, seen that, helped it with spiritual guidance that the normal preacher may be ill equipped to give.
I’d be in jail if it was my kid. The principal never called the cops. The mother did after the kid went home.
