Last week, members of the House of Representatives turned their attention to the biggest Obama scandal yet.
No, I do not mean the IRS or Benghazi. Those are more partisan witch hunt than true scandal, a point backed up by recent CNN polling that shows independents and moderates trust the White House's take.
This is the real scandal: President Obama said in his second inaugural address that failing to act on climate change would "betray future generations." Now, many expect that he is ready to do exactly that by approving the Keystone XL pipeline.
Last week, the pro-Keystone House of Representatives voted to take the decision out of Obama's hands. It may be unnecessary.
In fact, Organizing for Action -- the Obama campaign organization that speaks for the president through his Facebook and Twitter accounts -- recently told activists that because the president has not taken a position on the pipeline, they should take their advocacy elsewhere.
Even more scandalous: The White House appears to be basing its decision on myths.

This is a joke, right?
What???!
Impeachment File on Benghazi Coward B. Hussein Obama, formerly known as Barry Soetoro, a legal citizen of the sovereign Nation of Indonesia.
There's a reason some of us call CNN the Communist News Network.
Van Jones would not hesitate to order gov stooges to kill innocent conservatives. That man is a dangerous zealot.
Just a reminder Van, stuff doesn't always work out as planned.

Thought the rules required a Barf Alert for Van Jones posts....
Enough said.
Now I'm confused.
My understanding was that the sand was separated out near the mining site. Certainly seems that piping a slurry of sand and oil would make movement more challenging.
I also was under the impression that stuff traveling thru the pipeline was basically the same as any other type of oil. Possibly heavier than most, but very similar.
Is this incorrect?
When I read something like this I realize I don’t even live on the same planet as Van Jones and the “progressive” clergy ...
Constitution-hating communist bastard!
LOL @ Van Jones
“Those are more partisan witch hunt than true scandal, a point backed up by recent CNN polling that shows independents and moderates trust the White House’s take.”
A dead ambassador is a partisan witch hunt?
The IRS not just targeting people because of their politics, but using color of law to investigate every person they associate with is not a scandal but a partisan with hunt?
A poll determines truth?
Three strikes you’re out, CNN. Say hello to MSNBC.
This is the real scandal: President Obama said in his second inaugural address that failing to act on climate change would "betray future generations." Now, many expect that he is ready to do exactly that by approving the Keystone XL pipeline. He's been expected to do that for a year or more, and, bupkis.
Hence the name. Anyway, it's diluted with a liquid hydrocarbon similar to kerosene or diesel to make it all (the mixture) flow much more readily through the pipelines.
Virtually NO sand is in the mixture, as this would scour out the pipeline from the inside, reducing wall thickness of the pipes, and creating leaks and maintenance issues.
Search for "dilbit" on the web.
You beat me to it.
Please apply [Barf Alert] to the end of V. Jones titles....
“Odumbo is ready to approve the Keystone XL pipeline?”.......
I’ll believe it when I see it in writing.
Seems last week there was news that the Congress is preparing to go around Odumbo and get the pipeline going WITHOUT Odumbo’s permission. GETTER DONE!!!!!
