The father of Ibragim Todashev, who was shot by an FBI agent a week ago while being quizzed over his links to the Boston bombers, revealed the extent of his son's injuries in gruesome photographs of his dead body today.
Outspoken Abdul-Baki Todashev called for an investigation and possible legal action against the agent involved at a press conference in Moscow where he showed the images of his son's body lying in a morgue with up to seven gunshot wounds, including one to the back of the head.
His angry calls for justice came as a report claimed the 27-year-old native Chechen was unarmed in the clash with a federal agent in Florida on May 22.
Previous reports claimed the US citizen went for the agent with a knife while being interrogated in his home. However, a report by the Washington Post yesterday cited law enforcement officials saying he had no weapon.
Todashev is pictured lying in a Florida morgue. His father claims they show brutal injuries from up to seven bullets including one to the back of the head. 'This is not a shot that you fire when you come under attack. This is a shot you fire to execute someone,' he said.
'Couldn't they just handcuff him? At the very least, they could have wounded him in the foot or shoulder. And here he was killed execution style.'
Deceased: Ibragim Todashev was fatally shot by an FBI agent. Initial reports said he had a knife but that was not true
He added that his son must have had information they didn't want him to reveal.
'They silenced him', he added.

Wow, that sucks.
I hope the Pacers win tonight.
He knew too much, why else?
Say, we might get some rain.
If that one pic is supposed to show a shot to the back of the head his dad better take a second look, it’s to the top of the head. It suggests he had his head down coming for the agent.
I sure hope so. Nuthin but teaser showers today.
If it clears up we can see 3 planets on the west horizon.
I don’t know what to think.
Unfortunately with the Baraqqi regime, I have about equal confidence in the credibility of the FBI and some Chechen muzzie.
Why? Because law enforcement is no longer required to take risks. If they feel they’re in danger, they can shoot to kill, and always be absolved.
Anyone wanting on or off this list...well, you know.
I have lost all respect and confidence in our FBI.
They are an official arm of the Obama machine.
LOLOL @ suicide!
Dead Terrorist Tell No Tells!
be afraid of our govt....people die in strange circumstances...like the two FBI agents falling to their deaths...
we all hope that the satanist muzzies take a quick trip to hell, but do we really want our govt agents working in such a fashion?
The answer is because he lived in a country of tyrants and liars.
I feel for this father.
I am as suspicious of muslims as I can be, I think I have made that clear for a very long time, however I cannot abide the liars in my government, any of them.
Every agent involved in this should be fired and prosecuted.
The fact that they have lied is inexcusable. The FBI is dishonored, and I am not sure how they get it back.
Hot and sticky today around here.First time this year I turned on the A/C.
Doggone it.
Here's another problem ~ IRS maintains a fair amount of secrecy regarding the wheres, hows and whys of its processes for AUDITS ~ there's a cottage industry that's built up around something as simple as how they actually set standards for audits for cash contributions to charities. Accountants, tax lawyers and former IRS staffers and retirees work that baby to the bone.
But, for the most part the secrecy works fairly well so there's not a great deal of public understanding of what really goes on there.
That backfired when the Nonprofit Exemption people screwed up ~ in fact, IRS is so secretive no one is even allowed to respond with a "that's just a small group and a handful of taxpayers ~ or nontaxpayers as the case may be". Currently the IRS critics are having a field day describing the entire agency as corrupt to the very core ~ giving critics like me the opportunity to describe the entire federal income tax as a failed government program which we'd be better off without".
Now's definitely the time to kill this tax system and the agencies that go along with it.
Some days aren’t as good as others.
It rained all day today, but the forecast shows sunny days through the weekend.
The FBI was dishonored since before they were in bed with Whitey Bulger. Maybe before that.
