Hummm. Syria ranks 33rd in oil production at 400k barrels per day. That’s a really small amount. Nothing going on in Syria has anything to do with oil.
The US oil reserve is at an 80 year high. We don’t need it. We didn’t take any from Iraq, either.
Uhhh...you do realize the Syrian conflict is over a natural as pipeline that Qatar wants to run through Syria but which Assad opposes, right?
And that Qatar has contributed over $2 BILLION in funding to the rebels? And that the nat gas pipeline would erode Russia’s monopoly in Europe, hence Putin’s support of Assad.

Nat gas, oil, it’s all petroleum and all paid for in US petrodollars. And of course we are lovers with the petrodollar sheiks. TPTB do not want to lose reserve status and they will kill your children and my children to maintain it.
