"Everything that has been thought, said and done will be revealed. There is nothing "covered that shall not be revealed; nor hidden that shall not be known" (Luke 12:2)
Truly a dreadfull thought. We need Jesus to survive our eventual confrontation with God.There will be no mortal coil to hide in when we meet Him face to face.Though He sees all even now,we still seem to be able to function (to some degree at least) as though what's inside of us is private. However,on that day we meet Him face to face everything will be laid bare and it's only the putting on of Jesus Christ that will stop us fleeing the presence of God at the horror of our predicament. That awesome gift needs to be taken hold of and held fast.It must sink in to the point where we "cease from our own works" because we have "entered His rest" and can "be still and know that He is God" and know that we "have life in His name" and know that we "shall never fall"
Sorry for the ramble spirited but the article was a sobering read.
No apologies needed Mitch. Our age is one of reckless abandon and truly needs some ‘sobering’ thoughts.
That's a keeper......
