This wasn’t tolerated by parents around here even in the 1960’s anymore than throwing rocks at moving vehicles were.
Kids needed to learn to respect others and their property, drivers don’t need the distractions. Playing Cowboys and Indians or wargames between themselves, no problem.
I agree. In this day and age how is anyone in a car supposed to know if the gun is real or a toy? What if one of the driver’s thought they were going to be shot and defended himself? Then what?
