The Senate Judiciary Committee has increased the already-sizable length of the “Gang of Eight” immigration reform bill to more than a thousand pages during the markup process

The first version of the bill that was filed by the eight senators--Marco Rubio (R-FL), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Jeff Flake (R-AZ), John McCain (R-AZ), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Michael Bennet (D-CO), and Bob Menendez (D-NJ)--totaled 844 pages. An updated version, filed just before the bill went to the committee markup, stretched 867 pages in length.
The new bill towers over previous versions in length, clocking in at 1,076 pages. It was introduced on Tuesday afternoon

Well, we know that Leaky Leahy has already added an amendment in committee to insure "same sex" spouses would be given priority under the "family re-unification" section of the bill.

Why is it that 8 men representing the voters of 7 states drafted this bill? What about voters in the other 43 states whose voices are excluded because their senators are shut out of the process? This is supposed to be a government that represents the people, not a government of gangs and select committees.

How come the Treason Lobby never demands that the immigration laws that we now have simply be enforced?!

They are just eager to “reform” it, after which they won’t enforce the new law either.
The contemptible Hugh Hewitt is sponsoring an “immigration forum” tonight, where he will be selling the Treason Lobby’s steaming bucket of urine to whomever he can fool into drinking it.
Most of us have trouble following those, as simple as they are, much less the War and Peace man made versions coming out of DC.

I sure hope that you are right. But he’s not the only Amnesty pusher to have outed himself, Paul Ryan and Rand Paul showed that they put the interests of illegals ahead of Americans as well.
