Liberalism killed scouting in Canada. It’s currently on life support with severely limited membership numbers. The intention of the homo-Nazis is not to be quietly integrated into traditional organizations but to destroy them. The BSA will follow the fate of liberal churches.

Apparently the 4-H Clubs of America and National Little League dopted a “sexual orientation” nondiscrimination policy in 2010.

Plain and simple. . .Follow the money. . . .just how much $$$ is siphoned from the local clubs to the national leadership who in turn do not represent the values and interests of the local clubs. Selling those girl scout cookies for example. . . running all over the place, wasting gas money, putting cookies in the face of co-workers at the office, bugging relatives at family get togethers. . . for what??? for whom?? and for what cause. I started giving cash to the local organizations for a project or personally bought them something they needed.

4-H started going down hill when they strayed away from family values, competition, responsibility and instead adopted the “child-centered approach” of the public schools giving out feel-good stickers (blue ribbons) to everyone, and actually giving prize money for playing basketball and coming up with meaningless self-actualization projects.

Not a dime more from me. Sorry, boys. Around the mid-1950's the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) started looking at an alternative to the Boy Scouts, due to feelings that the Boy Scouts had slid into "all gods are alike" territory. They came up with their own program called "Lutheran Pioneer Train" that was like the Scouts with a more Triune God approach. Over the years, they have taken some flak for being anti-BSA, when in reality they were just pro-God. Looks like the WELS was right and justified in their decision after all. Here we are 50 years later and the BSA becomes apostate by welcoming buggery. For those with children of scouting age, perhaps considering a local WELS Pioneers program would be time and resources well spent.

Got Order of the arrow, but ran out of time after achieving Life to get Eagle.

Life scout has to be a Life scout for 6 months (before turning 18) before Eagle. I turned Life within 3 months of my 18th b-day.

So I missed Eagle by 3 months.

One of the finest men I have ever known was a big supporter of the Boy Scouts. I know at least one of his Sons was an Eagle Scout.

This man whose name was William Harper was moderately wealthy and he took care of his family then other Christian Charities as well as his church. After retiring from Dow Chemical where he obtained several valuable patents, he and his wife became missionaries.

I am sort of happy he did not have to see what happened to his Boy Scouts of America.

A few months ago my church had to decline a request to sponsor an American Heritage Girls troup. Basically because the they already sponsor a BSA troup and just didn’t feel like the time was there to do the girls justice. I am sure this request will now be revisited. Especially since the AHG dissolved their relationship with the BSA when they caved in to the sodomites.

I join you in your prayer but mine is for my son and lone grandson. He and I have discussed the issue at length and not sure what he is going to do. Right now he is so angry that he is being forced into having to remove the grandson that he could just spit. So we’ll see.

God will have the last say on this issue when it’s all said and done.

In 1998 the Canadian Boy Scouts committed suicide by allowing girls, homosexuals, lesbians, transsexuals, bisexuals, and atheists. Ten years later CBSouting had seen a 57% drop in membership. The first large church has already pulled away from the BSA and more, many more will follow. It may take ten months for BSA membership to fall by 57%. Those who think BSA is alive and well have to answer the question of how individual Scoutmasters handle gay applicants. Do they say no to protect their current members and set themselves up for a lawsuit, or say yes and see the members they have either put in danger or run away.

I have a 13 year old son. I was in Boy Scouts back in the 70’s and 80’s. I have a 14 year old, he won’t be a member. He already knows my viewpoint on sexual disorientation. A real shame that a once fine organization has decided to capitulate to sexual perversion. IMHO, he should enjoy the time to be a kid without all of the sexual crap involved. I know I need to talk with him about sexuality and what its purpose is, that is within the bounds of marriage as intended by God.

In his earlier years, trained him not to like show too much and even trained him that he is to be fully dressed in my or my wife’s presence. And ‘fully dressed’ is defined as have a minimum of a pair of shorts and a shirt on. Shirtless is appropriate like at the pool. Even being in just underwear is not covered enough.

In fact if I am out, if I need to use a public bathroom, if kids go in or are in, I would wait until they are through and have vacated the facility before I would go in and use it or find a different bathroom to use. My preference is to find a bathroom where I can go, shut & lock the door and do what is needed and then unlock the door and leave immediately ! In fact, if I am going someplace for a little bit, I go as far as avoiding having a drink so I can avoid a visit.

Way things are these days, the paranoid methods are the only way to protect yourself.
