McCain turned around and lied strongly and contiuously and fooled enough people to hang on and win the nomination. It's not like there were good candidates running.
Rubio has not turned around, he's already gone back on his promise that if securing the border was not first, he'd oppose the bill. The bill is amnesty (ie legalization) first, secure the borders later maybe. Nothing new here, but Rubio has not opposed the bill, in fact, he's out there with radio ads to talk radio, with lies supporting the bill.
Rubio is toast. Too bad, appears that he was a phony from the get go. Should've known, as Florida House Speaker, he had the opportunity to impeach the SCOFLAWs of the Florida Supreme Court, who tried to give the election to Gore in 2000. All hat, no cattle.

Anyone notice the faux “conservative” pro-amnesty commercials that were airing on Limbaugh suddenly no longer are done by Rubio and the foolish, useful idiot Paul Ryan in their adolescent sounding hyperactive voices? Rubio and Ryan have been replaced by professional voice actors doing the pro-amnesty commercials.
Is Rubio trying to walk away from this now? It won’t work—everytime I see or hear Rubio for the next few decades the memory of his anti-American endorsement of amnesty will flood back into my memory. And I’m sure I’m not alone.
