Yep. An old high school buddy of mine is in the Kentucky State Penitentiary for the rest of his life because of meth. He'd gotten hooked on it back in the mid-90's (it was actually the first time I'd ever heard of it) and was looking for money to get his next fix when he ran into a lady who was looking for someone to knock off her husband. She'd taken out a $250K life insurance policy on him and offered Sam $10K to kill him.

Sam blew him away with a double barrel shotgun in the middle of a trailer park in broad daylight, then drove away in his own pickup with all of the neighbors writing down his tag number. He provided testimony against the black widow and in return the prosecutor took the death penalty off the table.

Wow, what a terrible story. There’s a lot of meth brewed up here in rural Indiana and it produces a lot of horrific crimes that people wouldn’t “normally” do.

Just had a four person homicide.
