The Homeland Security guys are going to have issues with this one. There’s going to be speculation of more such domestic slaves, and the Saudi embassy crowd are going to feel heat. This gal? She might have an invalid visa but they’d have to run a sequence. She won’t be on a plane for at least a year, unless she’s begging them to let her leave.
I wouldn’t count on the Saudis getting any more visas for household employees. Too many questions.
Personally, I think she should be offered the opportunity to get a green card etc., because she was treated in such an unAmerican way in our country.
