There has been a huge increase in anti-Muslim incidents since the murder of a British soldier in Woolwich, an inter-faith charity has said.
Faith Matters, which runs a helpline, said they had received more than 150 calls since Wednesday's attack, up from a daily average of six.
A number of people have been arrested after allegedly offensive comments were made on social media websites.

Since the attack, four people have been charged by police after allegedly offensive messages were posted on social media websites.
Benjamin Flatters, a 22-year-old from Lincoln, will appear before magistrates on Saturday charged with making malicious comments on Facebook.
An unemployed 28-year-old has been charged by Sussex Police after allegedly posting an offensive message also on Facebook.
Michaela Turner, 23, has been charged with allegedly sending a "grossly offensive" message on Facebook, Hampshire Constabulary said.
And a 19-year-old man form Woking has been charged with improper use of public electronic communications in connection with comments placed on a social media website.

To me,the real story here is that people can be arrested because other people are offended.

If the government there does not allow semi-anonymous and otherwise ineffective outlets like making blustering comments on websites, then people will find more effective outlets. I sincerely hope this situation rapidly shifts to one where muslims of all demeanors fear to walk the streets anywhere in the UK. After all, if ordinary non-muslims feel that way, it’s only right that non-muslims return the favor.
My exact same thought. Boy, they are good at arresting those naughty people for making mean comments on Facebook. Cutting people’s heads off in broad daylight in the middle of a busy street? Well, we have to be tolerant with these “unruly yobs”, that’s all.
Muslims cut off heads and the people lose their free speech.
See how the left goes hard after their own citizens for just posting mean comments! Free speech was a nice concept. But the left has now consumed England and soon the US so that even if someone cuts off your head you may not say anything mean about it.

The British government best be careful. If they are seen by the people as mollycoddling and even aiding the machete wielding scumbags at the expense of the population, all the police state tactics in the world won’t stop the pushback.
Same thing is being done in the US. Instead of being arrested we get audited, fired from our jobs, and censored by moderators on comment sites.
Fine and dandy to pee on the flag, but don’t dare offend the left’s pet protected classes.
