I remember the outrage when “Light My Fire” was being played on the radio because it was too ‘sexually suggestive’. If those who were outraged then could hear today’s so-called ‘music’ they would die of heart attacks and are probably turning over in their graves. I would not blame them if they are turning over in their graves.

Ed Sullivan, in 1967 actually banned The Doors from his Sunday night "really big shoe" after Morrison defied his edict not to sing the lyric "could we ever get much higher". It was the beginning of the "Generation Gap" that prevailed thoughout the 70s. You're right, it's tame today compared with what dominates the airwaves.
