If that statement is a lie, then each and every salient experience I had while living in the UK for a year and a half, plus about ten months working on ships with mostly British engineering crew and many English musicians (and, by the way, not the Scotch nor the Irish folks I met, for some reason) without a single exception, is a lie. I’ve never heard a single kind word for the Jews from a Brit. But I’m OK with it, I accept it.
Oh, there will be bigots. But to say all British or the British people are anti-semitic is nonsense and frankly offensive. As offensive as me saying Americans are antisemitic.
