The Internal Revenue Service, charged with implementing the biggest change in tax laws in 20 years due to Obamacare, has created eight offices and special "teams" to handle the chore, way more than initially revealed.
Besides the top office headed by the woman in the middle of the IRS-Tea Party scandal, there are seven others and a special enforcement team that make up an organization chart that mirrors the organization of the IRS itself, according to a Treasury Inspector General's report.
The June report focused on concerns that the IRS, which is filling the Obamacare offices with 2,137 agents and officials to make sure citizens and companies comply with the new health law or pay a fine, isn't clear on its new role and how many new workers it will actually need. For example, the IRS will be in charge of analyzing hospital "community benefit activities," which it has never done before.
But in that report was the organizational chart revealing the series of Obamacare offices. They are led by a steering committee that coordinates Obamacare implementation across the IRS. It is led by the agency's deputy commissioner for services and enforcement, the office linked to the IRS scandal. Ousted acting IRS Commissioner Steven T. Miller recently had that job.
Other branches include three program management offices, four services and enforcement offices, and services and enforcement exchange working teams....

Next stop: Red Wings game.
Just imagine what the inefficiencies of the VA married with thousands of new regulations which nobody read, and add in the steamroller IRS will do to the healthcare system.
Millions of bonuses given to heads of various VA operations while people are waiting months to be processed. Bonuses and promotions to IRS scum who targeted people whose only crime was believing in what the Founders gave us and we have somehow lost.
Come on, should we let this happen?
I cannot imagine a point in my lifetime where the words of Thomas Jefferson speak louder to true patriots.
If the country allows this confluence of the worst of government to control our health care then we deserve what we get but our children/grandchildren will suffer because of our spineless inaction.
Helps explain all the ammo they aren’t stockpiling...
“I am so looking forward to 2014. I truly believe Obamacare will be the tipping point for RVII in one way or another. Once the libs see their healthcare go fluster-cluck, all hell is going to open wide. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Obambicare repealed by year end, even with a veto proof 2/3rds. Its going to get real ugly - we are not Canada or Britain.”
If, no not if, when CommieCare crashes and burns, the gimmie, gimmie public will demand the government do something and that something will be exactly what the dark lord wants. Single payer! Full government control with the jack boots of the IRS as the enforcement arm.
Should the people get to violent, the now well armed DHS (our version of the KGB) will step in and make WACO look like a weenie roast.
:-)
PS: They are up 3 games to 1 against the Black Hawks.
If an agent knocks on your door put a hurt on him so bad HE/SHE will need to use Obamacare.
They are going to hire 16,000 additional IRS agents to enforce this hellish nightmare, so that’s 2,137 agents per office, correct?
The Congress must re-claim its authority to "ALL" legislative authority...and put the brakes on Hussein.
Article 1 of the Constitution says ALL legislative authority is given to the Congress. NO authority to create law is given to the executive branch. It is created to enforce the domestic law and conduct foreign policy. About time Congress take away the law making ability from the bureaucracies it has created.
And one ring to rule them all...
It will not end well for anyone foolish enough to work for the IRS.
Do not comply.
