Sadly the eyes that open will mostly be on your side of the Pond.
Here there is no inclination to see the fire, no matter how thick the smoke.
The Politicians can see the issue, but are afraid of the blind ignorant response of the population.
When a response does occur it will either be too late, or only just in time.
