America and its famous and admired culture of low crime and violence being of course testament to this notion.
Perhaps the great difference between America and England/Scotland is that we are citizens - you are subjects.
Citizens are able to be armed as a Natural Law Right.
Subjects may own weapons as permitted by their Sovereign/government.
As for the higher level of gun caused deaths - fear not for America. We are just culling the Urban Feral herd.
