Fox News Poll: Voters say US should not intervene in Syria
Fox News ^ | 5/22/13 | Dana Blanton

A new Fox News poll finds that nearly a quarter of voters (23 percent) thinks the U.S. should get more involved because it’s a humanitarian crisis and Syria is a strategically important country. However, nearly three times as many, 68 percent, say the U.S. should stay out because it’s a civil war and the U.S. could actually end up helping anti-American extremist groups.

Syria is a rare instance of agreement across the political spectrum: majorities of independents (65 percent), Democrats (69 percent) and Republicans (70 percent) agree the United States should stay out of Syria.

Voters who have served in the military also say the U.S. should not intervene (67 percent).

Agreed! The Idiot-In-Chief should keep his ass out of the war room. It’s no place for community organizers!

Wow. Even Leftists seem to be awakening to the fact that the ‘uprisings’ we funded have put Radical Islamists in control. He** must be freezing over.

This is one of those rare moments in which I’m glad McCain wasn’t elected. By now, that old neocon POS would’ve had our troops getting shot up doing “stabilization ops” in Aleppo.

Nuke Iran, that will take care of the biggest part of the Syrian issue.

I agree, there is no good side to this conflict and frankly it is not our battle, unless Assad seriously threatens Israel. All we need to do is to contain Assad and not let him export his weapons to Lebanon.

We need to ask ourselves if we would be any better off with all of Saddam’s WMDs in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood.

sounds like a win/win situation to me; let them kill each other off, then we nuke the winner.

The last time we should have intervened anywhere was in Tripoli in 1805.

Too late, the black moslem jihadist living in the White House is backing another Al Qaeda Arab Spring. He kissed and made up with the Bengazzi brigade.

The Japanese wouldn't have attacked if we hadn't embargoed them. What the heck business of ours was it what Japan was doing to China (nothing that white people hadn't been doing when they had the chance).

And all of our self-rightoutness about saving the Jews doesn't mean squat since we turned away ships of Jews trying to flee.

I have a reflexive love if Israel, but it is not, and could never be, sufficient to want to send one tax dollar there, or anywhere outside of our borders.
