We’re all going to be targeted. I already was. Last week I had lunch with 4 conservative women. They are all stay-at-home moms or retired. I know them from church.
Three out of four of us were audited last year for the first times in our lives. We had all contributed to conservative causes or Christian charities.

Seems to me that the phrase "three out of four of us" is quite plainly incorrect, as you say there were five of you at lunch.
I am not surprised you were audited. Sounds like you got your audit the old fashioned way.....you earned it.
