Uh I doubt it or he would be beheaded in the street. My main question is if the barracks was just nearby where were all the other soldiers? You would think in 20 minutes they would have come running out and killed these Aholes.

Its speculation and still not confirmed that he was a soldier. He probably was a civilian volunteer for Help for Heroes and thats why these cowards killed him.
